Excuse us. We’re cats. We don’t have to choose.

But their preferences are becoming more defined. They’re tired of Copeland. Not so heavy on the flutes, whether Celtic or Native American. Etta James is now popular, and they’ve added Big Band and the irrepressible Sophie Tucker. (You’ll have to do some searching for a good station, I’m afraid. Our favorite just quit broadcasting. Woe.  Two very unhappy cats when they catch on.)

And an old quilt on the floor in front of the fireplace is the new choice for naps.

Apparently life is only as complicated as you choose to make it.
