CATS – the movie

Playbill reports the full-length film version of Cats is due to premiere December 20, 2019.

Production starts later this year, and of course gossip is rife about who’s going to play which cat in the production. Andrew Lloyd Webber is also writing at least one new song.

sigh.

Is it too early to start hinting for Christmas, 2019 ?

    I hope the movie is as good as the great stage production in Union City a few years back!

      Wow, what a memory you’ve got! But I agree, it was a fantastic stage production (I still have my ticket stub around somewhere). I hope the movie keeps all of the original music, though, and doesn’t drop any of the songs for new ones.
