This is why we folks in the country wish people wouldn’t dump their unwanted puppies, dogs, kitten and cats out here. A three (?) month-old kitten doesn’t need to be on her own in a world populated with barn owls, hawks, coyotes, foxes, skunks, raccoons and possums, just to name a few. And farm tractors, grain trucks, dump trucks, semis and road construction equipment.
We’ve rescued over 21 cats through the years and at least seven dogs. Please call a local rescue group or humane society before dumping an unwanted pet. They’re too cute and defenseless to end up being killed for dinner.
Penelope thanks you.
And speaking of puppies and dogs, a hello “woof!” to classypuppies and a big thanks for following us. We know you folks would never abandon a companion animal of whatever age.
Thank you for all you do.
We really don’t do nearly as much as I’d like to do. If I ever win the lottery, this area is getting a no-kill shelter and elder cat sanctuary! (Plus I know you’re looking after multiple cats yourself – lucky felines!)
