And Slim eating his first real meal at home. (I’ll post a photo of his left side once I can snap it without flinching. His poor hip looks like the stitching on a softball.) He’s doing quite well, considering – and even with the (gulp) vet bill, we’re glad we didn’t elect euthanasia.

Bravery and quick thinking like both brothers displayed needs to be somehow rewarded,not curtailed.
