If he’s Ginger, does that make me Fred?

One of our younger rescues, a ginger tom, was ‘treated’ to his first dance yesterday. I held him in one arm, back feet on my hip and his right front paw in my other hand as we waltzed down the hall and around the living room. (I had the lead, of course.)

He was surprised, but seemed to like it for several minutes, until one too many turns. Then he wanted to be set back on the floor.

Would a dancing cat be twice as good as Fred Astaire, since a cat has twice as many feet?
