Cats and writers

Edith Sӧdergran was another devoted cat fan, who unfortunately died at only 31 because of complications from tuberculosis. Sӧdergran is acclaimed as a modernist in Swedish literature as well as a Finnish poet. (Note to self: find more of her work.)

Here’s a small sample:

I wish only for a garden sofa
Where a cat is sunning itself.”
