Isn’t it surprising how very demanding two small furry bodies can be?

Brush me, comb me, refill my water container, add ice cubes this time, my food dish is empty, the air conditioner’s too cold, turn up the heater, open a window.

Makes you glad they can’t actually speak. But then, “Thank you” as a purr, a nose kiss, a gaze that says “You’re my best friend,” means so very much.
